Infected In Viruses! Help Please!?

I didn't have any aniti-viruses , a had just anti spyware, It was AVG 7.5 edition. I found out that my laptob works slow, I downloaded AVG free anti-virus. I scanned the laptop in safe mode, both with anti-virus and anti spyware. I cleaned the registry with CCleaner too. I defregmented Drive C too!

But now I have a big problem! AVG anti spyware didn't ask me what to do with the infected objects. It did everything itself, and now, I find out that it has deleted many many important files!

My notepad and paint do not work, my Media player do not work, many of my files are gone, and I don't know what should I do!

I don't want to format the laptob, but I cant let AVG to delete all my important files! It gives me warnings rapidly about a system file infected, and I don't wanna delete the file, it may cause errors or damages to my lsptop.

the virus is namped Polipos.

Please help me!! that's urgent! I accept any suggestions!

as u said the notepad and paint not workin.. then the viruscan could have deleted ur system files..

u have only limited option.. try runnin ur laptop in safe mode by pressin F8 key and do a system restore to the earlier stage
