Everything is FREE you know and you don't have to worry about viruses, trojans, spyware etc. although a simple firewall is optional.
If you use XP or Vista, have you considered switching to Linux?downloads
Positively Yeah!!! I don't see what's the problem with switching from Windows to Linux. Many people do not know Linux is much, I mean MORE powerful than Windows. Though it's not really for gaming, it's fine with me (because I don't usually play games in my PC). Anyway, Linux is really good. I'm gonna switch to Linux sooner or later. I'm just waiting for the right time to reformat.

Sure, what is the difference? I have a PC not a MAC.
im not really answering but cute penguin
i use linux and it is AWSOME!!!
linux mint rocks
I run vista and have a spare computer that I am gonna run as a kubuntu. The free remark is starting to lose its luster. There is a huge open source community even for programs that run on windows. Chances are you can find what you need for free even if you run windows.
I have used Linux in the past and do a dual boot. Program compatibility is key and the reason Windows dominates. Some of the programs I need are not available for Linux and there is no alternative yet. As for viruses, there are now viruses for Linux as well as Apple, just not very many yet. As the popularity grows, so will the threat from viruses and such. I love Ubuntu Linux. Works great.
No,cause some people told me its not for gaming and I can't live without a gaming computer lol
Yes I Did actually, Tried Dual booting but accedently removed my whole hard drive :-\ . And it said to to me at its start up screen "OS Corrupted" What The ****
no way, vista is a pain when u get it, but if u get useto it, then it is so much better than linux or xp
Yes I dual boot Fedora and XP.
Yep i am just about to go ahead with my triple boot system, @ moment running Xp Pro and Vista Ultimate, going to get Dream Linux on there, i only just got exact instructions how to do so, as i have said in your previous poats about Linux, the install route needs to be simplified, by that i mean the instructions, i ended up with a duff system about 2 weeks ago, due to an install, yes it was my fault. Now i have ghosted my system and am happy to go ahead with Dream Linux. As for Virus's they do exist for linux just not as much, since most virus's are just script.
Hope this helps.
Why switch when you can have both?
