Two Antivirus programs can cause conflict and erractic behavior.
Have you uninstall AVG? Look in the Event Viewer located in the Administrative Tools. It will have Error messages that will indicate what the real problem is. If you post tham here only post the 4 most recent errors.

autocad is picky like that i found it you install autocad and norton antivirus (they are the fill copies) togther that norton thinks that some of the autocad files are virus's and wipes them out so autocad dosn't work my best advise is to uninstall everything and then reinstall autocad and if you are worried about stuff get Macafee it workslike a charm.
There are fraud antispyware in the net, mostly free. Like what you said, antispyware that might bring spyware into your PC.
Try to remove ashampoo antispyware and re-install your autocad.
remove the ashampoo that you installed. then reinstall your autocad
Per McAfee Site Advisor
ashampoo.com
When we browsed this site, it made unauthorized changes to our test PC.
Makes me want to install their software right now! ROFL
In a way, companies today have "accidentally" let glitches into there antivirus/anitspyware that recognize other antivirus / anitspyware software made by other companies as malicious programs. To avoid this completely uninstall the first program before installing another. If you're afraid of hackers/viruses during the time you switch disconnect from the internet the reconnect after you've installed the new software.
